RIP, he definitely had an influence on my childhood even if it was just a small one. Hopefully we'll still get to see him as CGI cameos in all future Marvel films, I used to love his cameos.

His influence on comics and the superhero genre simply cannot be overstated. Unlike most celebrities branded a 'legend' upon their death, Stan Lee truly was one. A towering colossus in his field, with a CV like no other! He was also still attending conventions, filming cameos and helping to create new content well into his nineties. The man truly was a marvel... which seems a most fitting description.

Rest in peace, Stan. Thanks for all you gave us.
