R.I.P. George Barris

Always loved the Kustom car scene and along with Ed " Big Daddy " Roth and Von Dutch, George Barris was one of the best. RIP

If you don't know who George Barris is you'd be certain to at least know a few of his creations.

There was a batmobile at Ultracon in Rotherham this year - never really thought about its creator

Must have been some guy to come up with designs like that - RIP George

A man with vision for sure, I never forget my mum coming home with the batmobile with trailer & batboat, I was in the bath & instantly wanted to play with the boat, but was not allowed to immerse it, a fond memory courtesy of George, may you rest in peace.

I've seen several TV specials with him as a guest. He's a guy who truly loved what he did, and was proud of his creations.
