Figures that were made in different countries were made by different toy manufacturers

Kenner were produced in America and were the most cmmon.
Palitoy were produced in the UK
Takara - Japan
Glasslite- Brazil
Lili Ledy - Mexic

etc etc

not strictly true there Stu, Kenner were packaged in the US and Palitoy were packaged in the UK but the figs were made in HK and Tailand etc

Also note that not all Takara stickered 3PO Moc's have a takara 3PO variant in the bubble, but there are some that have an 3PO with an different head sculpt and a Japan Coo wich are more rare as the regular 3PO's with takara label on it.
