Question Time

The ERG is one of the higher value ones but i still think Leia Organa and Death Star Droid would both go for more. Luke Gunner too.

I expect the ERG to reach £200, it has some issues but people go nuts for them when they show up and it is said to be quite rare.

Last year several ERG Trilogos sold in the $800-1K range (which is nuts but they did sell)

No way!! Wow. I'm sure I've past on one at about 100. I've seen dozens of tri ERGs. WAY more than Nien Nunbs, Leias, DSDs, Ackbars, Luke Gunners.

I personally feel the price of any carded figure comes down to supply and demand.

There have been numerous Luke Gunners, Luke Bespins, Leia original trilogos available this year and therefore the price has dipped. However one of these may not show up for another 6 months or so and therefore the next one to come up will sell for significantly more.

The last ERG was about 6 weeks ago but was on ebay USA and graded 80 or 85, seller only shipped to US, I think it was on a BIN and went for $450 or thereabouts

I think you're right there. A year ago you couldn't get a Leia Organa or DSD for less than £200 (saw two DSDs sell for around 300) and you could pick up a ERG for £100-£120.

Agreed with the supply and demand, you see droughts with certain figures which in turns creates competition/bidding wars the next time one appears, this can sometimes make people believe a figure is rarer/worth more money and the bidding wars reoccur for a couple more auctions till everyone who wants one has them and prices go down again with less people bidding.

That graded ERG was a steal though, the condition was fantastic and it was gone within hours if I remember.

I offered th guy £200 at the start of the week - he should have taken my offer

£210 :)

Nice. I think that's a lot for the condition it's in. But then the markets change as discussed due to supply and demand (and trend). I gues this is now what one of these is worth.

And Iain, YES he should have taken your offer and saved himself £15 or so quid. I would have bitten your ****in hand off with that offer!
