Quanities and details of ROTJ 2 Packs and Irish 3 Packs

I do like the twin packs, again not too pricey but hard to get with a good bubble on them. I have 6 I think non too rare but they don't come up often that is true. As to overall quantities out there I have no idea just wanted some with gammy guards in.

Yeah your right Joe, i went to see the guy in person & bought the 3 pack & the 2 woolies 8 packs he had, no wonder you remember & it saddens me to recount, as i know you were wanting the 3 pack with 8D8 in for your focus & I offered to buy it there & then for you from him as I had the funds at the time, but he said he was saving it for "Joe" so no he would not sell it to me, then it got sold elsewhere, a dam shame Joe.

Be really nice to know how many are out there, hated it when i first saw one TBH as they looked pretty tacky to me, but I have to say its really grown on me now & I think they would be a great though very expensive focus.

Dam shame Tim did not get that one that just went up on RS as it had a B-Wing pilot in it.

Just wish there were a 2 pack or 3 pack with a power droid in, not counting the Kenner issues 3 pack that is.

No problem Frank, was a very nice gesture on your behalf at the time and I am grateful for you trying to help (as much as I was then too) but I think the seller wasn't really up to the task of handling the sales apart from the ones he did in person. All got a bit too much for him didn't it!

I reckon they are good value for money and are likely to see a tri-logo rise in prices before too long. Han/Madine can be got for around £50 still.

Do you really think so Andy? I only ask because I remember a few years ago when Jimm2pack and JediDallas were aggresively chasing these (right after Todd made them "popular") the prices were really silly but then Jimmy dumped his and things seemed to really tank. Haven't seen anyone going after these since although JediDallas still buys them occasionally.

The few I have seen on ebay in the last year or so never really went as high as I remember them going a few years back which makes me wonder if their popularity had really dropped off with collectors.

I've never found them that interesting really as they really do look insanely cheap and tacky (and people think Trilogos look cheap!) and I also never had the chance to pick one up for the focus as 8D8 doesn't seem to have ever been included in a 2 pack (*although Jimmy let out on RS that Todd actually had an 8D8 one then deleted his post + sent me a flurry of PM's telling me to never speak of it again!!)

As for Irish 3 packs Grant - Very hard to get an accurate idea of how many are out there and if the examples that are on the market are 100% legitimate. Easy to swap figures in and out so always proceed with caution.

Price wise you could probably get a bunch of ROTJ 2 packs for the price of a single Irish 3 pack!

I've not seen any decent two packs for sale for years as most are locked up in focus collections or with jedidallas - if you want a bib or madine thats anoter thing.

i regularly get pms from folk trying to buy mine and reckon I could turn a profit I sold.

The thing with vintage Star Wars is that the less desirable things get pricier as the mass collectables do. As 12 backs increase in price, folk look for a new affordable niche - hence the rise in tri-logos, bootlegs or people putting ROTJ runs together. Maybe 2 packs are a bit too niche and tacky looking but I reckon they'll become more sought after.

For sure, he was a nice enough lad, but not what I would call Mr organisation for sure, dam shame as he had some great items, just glad I pulled my thumb out & made the mecca to Leeds to see him in person, it was a huge risk but paid off in the end, fingers crossed it makes it in to your hands at some point buddy.

I think everyone tried to help peter/paul/mark/steve :? :lol: but there is just no helping some folk as we all know only to well

I will check my list and reply i also have been keeping a note on the c-3po Irish 3 packs. Which always come up at the wrong time for me :roll:

But from what i have read these are easy to swap figures so i think its the kind of thing you may need to see in person or at least really close up pictures.

Also dont forget the mega rare c-3po & Ackbar Combo were snackbar is hiding his cock from ol gay Goldenrod :lol:

I own a Ree Yees/Vader two pack......not on the list. Bought it around 1995 in florida from a toy dealer. I wonder if it is rare.

We may need to talk about that! Starting to look into these myself for the focus, rarely coming up and price seems not too bad

Although I should be able to find out , I think I may know who
Has it also.

With regards to Vader Combo's their are more out their than you think
But it is one of the more rare and desired combos for sure.

I have seen some of the rare 1 of 1's known being sold for very high amounts even Some being asked for amounts of around £500 over $800

I have also seen 2 Boba Fett ones am sure one with walrus man , the seller had both of them and was the most expensive ones I have seen.

I only paid £250 for my Vader/Han a few years back and that was from Hollywood heroes, it would have to be someone pretty rare with Vader to fetch £500

Maybe a Vader jawa combo - that would be good

Amount was meaning some of the 1 of 1's.

But I can imagine the Vader and Leia organa selling for a High amount
If it every came up for sale.

Am sure the Ben Jawa that Grant mentioned sold
For a high amount, that was one of the most expensive ones
I have seen sold.
