R2 pop up saber's are going through the roof - crazy prices. It's a little brown at the base and the backing card has writing on it

(I got my POTF carded pop up 2 years ago on ebay for £45!!)

I gave up trying to get a loosie R2-D2 Pop-up Lighsaber earlier in the year Andy, they are just too expensive at the moment and there are loads and I mean loads of repro sabers out there, I don't want to get scammed and landed with one.

I wish I bought Iain's MOC Trilogo R2 with pop up saber about 18 months+ ago it was a steal :(

I agree Paul - I've been on the look out for a loose one also, but I'm going to wait until it all dies down a bit.

Incidentally what was Iain after?

£120 Fully sealed Trilogo MOC R2-D2 Pop up lightsaber, in really nice condition too - I could cry now

I brought my Pop Up R2 back in 2009 and paid £75 back then! At the time I was fairly new to the last 17 and what they went so like an idiot I vastly overpaid, It turns out now that it wasnt such a bad deal after all!

super price Paul

Yeah i bought a sealed one for about £90 2 years or so ago. Tho that was a decent deal.
Nice to know it was a good investment tho its fairly unlikely any of my collection (the good stuff) will ever be sold.

I was in for that one as I wanted to match the sabre up with a really minty R2 I have at the moment - can't believe it got to £90 odd when it was discoloured (as were most of his figures)

I picked up a loose one recently for £30 which I thought was a decent price. A little faded on the sticker but overall good.

Really? With a non repro sabre???

2 years ago on ebay POTF R2 pop up (no cracks dings, not a re-seal) C8 £47 - that was my bargain of that year!

It's because I still need a potf one of these. Expect prices to hit an all time high the day I purchase one from and then 160 cases to be discovered at Dave prowse's house the next morning making them cheaper then rotj klaatus.

But we all know I love to overpay anyway.

**** makes me so glad I collect baggies, saying that I dread the thought of what a pop up baggie would set me back if one ever turned up

If these prices carry on going the way they are doing we will have to start collecting my little pony stuff :o
