After a quick glance, I reckon a deal anywhere between £500-£600 would be good for both parties

I'm going a rough £25.00 each fro the cards = £375

£50 for the Leia, Sand Skimmer and Reebo Band = £150

£25 for the Jabba = £25

£20 for the Speeder Bikes = £40

£10 for the 2 Gliders and 3? Mini rigs = £50

£10? for the lunch box + flask = £10

So maybe £650 all in - although lunch boxes and Leia dolls are not really my specialist subject :D

They are not mine Ryan, I offered to price them up. So I'm delegating the job to you lot to price up
The boxes are sealed.

Bloody cheek of it

If the boxes are sealed then maybe another £100 on top - do I get any commission for this work :D

I'd be interested in maybe one or two of thee MOC's if you could let me know when the seller decides on prices mate I'd appreciate it.

Cheers Ryan

I think you may even be able to add £200 to £250 on that if they are all sealed, but depends just how long they want to hold on to them & if they are going to sell as a job lot or split to try to get the best, but that would be rinsing it

Tell you what - I have just noticed that the first Biker Scout looks like a short masked one - if that is the case then that might be worth £50-£70

Some nice stuff there... If you do acquire them or the seller wants to sell, i'd be interested in the boxed ROTJ stuff including some of the MOCS and defo the flask and lunch box... Looks cool!!

Let me know either way buddy.

Cheers,

Bram

P.S When am I gonna find someone who has a haul like this... Mystifies me how you guys do it?!

I am NOT buying them & not acting as a middle man. I'm just trying to help him out with fair prices before he lists them. The short mouth Biker (with darker weapon) & sealed unfolded flap MISB speeder sold for $120 together  I couldn't be arsed going through completed listings & linking him up to prices. I figured a few peeps might be interested in the pieces so if we get some fair prices posted on this thread a decent sale might start & everyone can have a bit of a win (seller & buyers)
Iain's list looks fair to me, I'm not up to date with MISB pricing.

Ok... since James has 'blown my cover', I guess I better put in an appearance.

First of all, when I stumbled across the Emperor... uh, I mean James ~ I had no idea he would be sending in all you Storm Troopers for support. Very impressive. And very much appreciated!

This stash he has pictured is an accumulation we bought out of the store when new and tucked away ~ we are not SW collectors per se and have not kept abreast of current prices. I have been going bug-eyed trying to research prices on Ebay and RS, which is where James came in.

I dipped my toe in to an auction with the speeder bike & scout with a start price I thought was fair ($130) and since it was something that I had multiple examples to sell. It got a few bookmarks, but no inquirys and only one offer after five days which I accepted. The buyer happened to live in Seattle near where I am located and we met to consummate the deal. He had asked if I had anything else and I took a few dupes along, most of which he bought. He is now hot to buy everything I have ~ a position I now understand better... I have held off on that, since I knew how much I didn't know about pricing. For example, I only became aware yesterday of the short-mouth variants. I remain in contact with him since he is a nice enough guy and has the money to spend if we agree on prices. I don't begrudge him the first deal since he paid what I asked at that time.

James didn't mention that I also have 2 Boba Fett 77-backs, one of which is running on ebay now with a price of $495 or best offer. That was to try to guage values on what are the pearls of this pile. So far I have gotten one serious offer which nearly met my (admittedly arbitrary) threshold for acceptance. I mention this not to advertise the auction, but rather to indicate that I am working as best I know on evaluations.

So that is who I am and how I came to get here. I appreciate all the input. I'm still not sure exactly how I will procede yet, but will say that I remain open to options and am willing to deal with international buyers as is stated in my auctions. I did put the stipulation in that IBs would have to contact me before bidding. That was so I could check their feedback for bona fides.

I'll be around for a bit before I make any decisions at any rate.

Yours in obsessive collecting,
Bob
