Hi Guy's

Looking to buy a loose complete Yak Face from Flebay, £140 seems to be the going rate on there, is that about right?

£140 is an average eBay price for a good one but you can get them cheaper. I bought one on here three months ago for £69 if I remember rightly.
Also remember the staff is pretty common, you can get one for less than a tenner so don't let incomplete fig put you off. (Some Yaks were sold without a weapon anyway, so technically it can be complete without it!)

90% of yaks came without a weapon on tri logo cards, only the canadian issued POTF one actually came with a staff, I am sure many many poor Nikto's have been disarmed in the hunt for making the fugly one weaponized

through the roof at the moment!

i can remember around 2004/5 on ebay whacking on £50 would guarantee you a yak all day long!

even beater yak can go for £60-70 now

I bought most of mine for less than £50. That was about 3 years ago. Recently i have paid between £100 and £130. Condition has a lot to do with price. I have seen them in bad condition go for 90-100 but i won't touch them. All mine range from pretty good condition to mint. I'd say the collection is worth 3 times what i paid for it.

thanks for the advice guy's

i'll have a good look around, obviously ebay but is there amywhere else i could try?

i wouldnt pay £70 for this! :o £30 tops

Yeah, neither would i. I wouldn't pay £30 either. Don't see how that has any value to anyone. :?

I can't see prices coming down that much, if at all, in the future. At the very beginning of my loose collecting you could get most Last 17s for around £25. Now they've all gone tits!

that Yak face is Shocking.

yes been searching and £140 looks like the going rate, really want one so looks like i will be parting with the cash.

If anybody here has one they want to sell give me a shout, would rather buy from you guy's.

cheers Russ

Patience. It took me 15 years, but I picked mine up at the end of last year for £1.50

Just proves they can still be found. In the same year I picked up a Imperial dignitary for £3, a pop up R2 for £4, a luke Stormie for £3.

Cheers

WOW

Dave

where did you find them at those crazy prices?

Yak face was at a toy fair, r2 and the dig were at a shop in weston super mare, and the luke was ebay.

As I say, patience is all you need. I have pretty complete set of vintage figures, and the most I have paid for a figure (romba) is £10, and I thought that was to high at the time.
But, it did take me 15 years to get them all.

Cheers

Dave

You can get good prices on ebay, but you have to look outside the star wars listings. There will always be people listing star wars figures in amongst other stuff.

I forgot to add to that list that I also got x2 tri-logo Fetts, one for £1, and the other for £3.

I had a very good year :D

i picked up a badly listed yak recently for 'just' 80 english pounds off ebay a month or so back.
