Power Droid variations - following on from short V thread

Maybe some talk about the light blue in PBP/POCH discussions??

Right took a shed load more photos of the Light blue PD next to the short V, as you can see the Light blue is much much lighter than even the short V one, I still need to do more photos as I noticed something, that being the thin plastic clicker has rounded edges on one & sharp on the other which was really noticeable on the photos from underneath when I zoomed right in, so I need to cross check it against some others, both standard & short v.

These are of the Light Blue (on the right) next to a Short V type

& this is the Light Blue (right) next to a standard PD with a light behind them as in the photos above of the short V next to it.

Was gonna say, how many variants you got?

Awesome army Frank. The little one looks more of a teal coloured blue. Also with it having smaller orange side stickers, I wonder if it's a pre production piece some how. Might be worth emailing Ben Sheehan or Chris G with some pics. It never hurts to ask. Grant.

some plastic colour differences, while you're looking up there you may note different mould numbers as well

Nice one James, where exactly am I looking for the mould numbers as I can't see them for looking

look though/past the clicker mechanism plastic- you'll see a backwards number ie. 3,4 or 5 (only the long V variants)

Now check all your legs to see if you have a 'grey' one?

Nice one James, sorry only just spotted your reply, will have to double check them all see if I can see what I have, is there anything special about the grey legs one then? & any idea what the numbers are all about then? :?

I have never understood why there are all this rumbers on the figures, weapons, helmets etc. etc. But they can be found on a lot of the vintage star wars stuff. Maybe it was for better finding an error in the production :?
