how much would a decent run of MOCS be for every figure?

Depends on condition, and if you go for the cheapest carded version.

Ungraded, if your not THAT fussy about condition and are prepared to wait for the right price, it wouldn't be a ridiculous amount. But Ron is right, Variants will be cheaper!

You could get a complete run off figures done between ROTJ and tri logo. Only a few figures there would cost a lot
