POTF card backs? COO

Guys, I know it is widely accepted that there are no variations on the POTF figures, but what about the cardbacks?
I ask because this morning I recieved a POTF Imperial Gunner in the post and right at the bottom on the back there is a small sticker stating 'MADE IN HONG KONG'.
I was under the impression (although I stand to be corrected) that they were printed 'Made in Hong Kong' anyway, so why cover it up with something saying exactly the same?

there has been a Barada with 1984 & 1985 & Amanaman with misaligned leg markings and smaller eyes :wink:

I just checked Kellerman's book and the POTF cardback in there is a 9D9 printed made in Taiwan (I think - the writing is very small), but definitely not Hong Kong.

Presumably Taiwan (or Macau) is under your sticker

I had the same sticker on my EV9D9 but can't for the life of me think what it said underneath, had a scout around my photobucket but have no idea where I put the picture lol
