Hi all,

i may be selling this on so an idea of value would be helpfull, the card is very good c8 unpunched, bubble is ok with a small crack on bottom, there is mould behind the figure see in picture.

The only time i have seen mold like that (but not as much) is when a friend of mine had
stored his MOC's in his loft.

Its not as expensive as Anakin Yak Face etc but its is hard to find.

Joe Y currently has a nice POTF AT-AT Driver FS on RS for $1200 which is about £730.

The mold though is gonna bring the price way down in comparison.

Im not an expert on POTF MOC's maybe Gary Smith or someone will be able to help further.

You wanna see if sunlight can get rid of the mold Andy.

Cheers Jay

Well I wouldn't personally buy a figure with mould on it, but having said that knowing the price you got it for I would say keep it :D you probably won't find another for £150 quid!!

Not quite sure if you could do anything about that mould once its in there :(

Maybe its worth a google lol

Cheers for the help guys, i have heard of heat lamps getting rid of frosting, it looks raised/furry so i doubt it would go but i might give it a try.

If the mould cant be removed then this will be the biggest hurdle unfortunately.

Especially if your trying to sell for a profit or even to just recoup the price paid.

Its a real shame as the rest of the card (apart from the yellow bubble) looks mint.

Sunlight kills certain types of mould so its defo worth trying out Andy.

Well its worth a shot , try sun first, frosting is as you said a different kettle of fish but it won't hurt to try it :)
Good luck !

Maybe try a UV lamp on it if you can. Usually kills Moulds etc. Don't know about Mould on a card though.

i can get a small piece of wire under the air gap at the botton of the bubble...maybe a DIY ultra thin brush might help.....

UV...i might try a bit of natural light as sumlight is UV isnt it?

If you can clean up the mould slightly you should make money on that. He's not an easy POTF MOC to come by and someone may well take him as a stop gap until they can upgrade.
See what you can do, but make sure you don't damage the thing!

I will give you £75 more than what you paid for it Andy if you want to get rid of it!
