Evenin gents, anyone know approximately how much it costs to ship (insured and ideally with signature required) a graded figure to the States?
It's been that long since I posted anything over the pond I can't remember.

Cheers.

Hi Weasel

I've just recently (well a month ago) sent 2 figures for grading and cost £15.15, weight was 0.579kg. It was by Airsure small packet with insurance up to £300.

They were sent 04/05/2010 and due date is 13/07/2010. Bit of a wait so best to send and forget about them for a while, lol

Hope this helps dude :)

read my royal mail thread mate :(

use parcel2go, the couriers pick the parcel up from you and its traceable to their doorstep, also you get instant quotes for packages online so you can get postage price right

As an update on this, yer man was mad keen, initially he wanted two MOC's then decided he just wanted one. No problem there. He wanted to know what the postage rate would be, hence my initial post on here. I was actually in the PO a day after my post and got a quote from them. I emailed him to let him know and then he announces that he's moving house won't be able to buy them.

I mean WTF? Did he just decide to move house randomly one morning?
Did he wake up and go "You know what!? I think I'm gonna move house today!" Did he also move house that very day, thus meaning he wouldn't have the £80 the MOC would have cost him?
I know it's a buyers market when it comes to property but did he buy a house that day?
Did he walk into an estate agents and say "Aye, that one there, I'll have it now, is cash ok?!"

Ok, if he doesn't want to buy the MOC and changes his mind no problem, just say "Nah mate, changed my mind" no harm done. Done feed me some blatant bull **** excuse!

Well weasel I think this is in no way uncommon. Just this morning I decided to move the carboard box I sleep in from the back side to the front side of the Central Station.

... and I just moved the dustbin from the front of the house to the side... big decisions! ****, that means I wont be able to go to work today! :? :p

Don't understand people who think they need to lie

I don't get it. Why not just say he's changed his mind. We all have seconds thoughts and I would honestly have no problem with that. No need for the not even remotely plausible BS

Maybe his wife chucked him out of the house for spending too much money on toys and he was too embarrassed to tell you the real reason he was "moving" so suddenly
