postage fees

The way I see it is that this is a hobby and the selling and buying process is part of your leisure time. Why charge for it? I will simply add on a £1 or so to cover packing materials (I get through a lot of big rolls of tape etc), less on smaller items, but thats it.

Postage and packing prices should be fair especially when various items are combined. I've seen some people knock off very little or even nothing when combining several purchases and then they pocket the difference. The last person who did that to me was offered the opportunity to correct it, they didn't so I left negatives, simple really.

I didn't mind paying your postage rates Jay, they are a little higher than others but the card was very well packed and I've no problem with special delivery

my only problem is with how long it takes you to leave feedback

Soz Andy ill leave it now!

The point i want to make is i dont make any money out of postage at all sometimes im 50p up sometimes im about a £1 down. It evens out.

Its really because of scammers i have to send special delivery on fleabay which obviously bumps the price up but personally the protection it offers both parties is worth it imo.

Now if im sending people items here or on RS im happy to send recorded if they request that and anyone who has bought from me knows i pack my items like a collector so its still a safe option.

your right to send iteams by special delivery it covers you

Toally agree Ron!

Many buyers cry about the price but thats because paypal cover them anyway. There no point offering 2 options e.g special or recorded as they will always pick recorded as its cheaper but ultimately its the seller who will put his hand in his pocket if it goes tits up!

if something got damaged in post and i have refunded....am i in my rights to ask for proof that it has been destroyed?

Dam right bollux the buyer has to return the item to the seller via trackble means before paypal will refund them!

But........... watch out scammers will return you a brick via trackble means if it means getting a refund hence the reason to use special delivery its there for the sellers protection.

BTW im proper pissed  and feel proud that i managed to construct sentences from a certain point of view!!!

All the AFA figures i have sold have all been sent out special delivery. I know it costs more but it is worth it. Also i go through a lot off brown tape and rolls of bubble wrap and some times i need to buy a box. It all costs money
