This:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154433619401

looks a bit like a UK version of this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Star-Wars-Vintage-Jawa-Radio-Controlled-SANDCRAWLER-incl-SW-Box-1978-/224326993075?nma=true&si=vZ5jPY3u2%252BTNcofY2L3qQwxshkM%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

The top link looks like the listing has been pulled so I’d say you were correct

It was basically a carbin copy of the original listing, but in English. Scumbag! Well spotted, sir :D It was on a 24-hour auction, which could of easily duped many people. How secure is the new eBay payment system, I wonder? Paying into someone's bank account might cause problems with getting your money back.

Good work mate.

Pro-tip-

if your going into a £3k bidding war, check the feedback for negative reviews.......

I've just checked out his feedback :? Lord have mercy, seems as though people have lost thousands! Let's hope they get their money back. Must be a very stressful situation for those involved. So this new eBay bank transfer thing; I'd imagine the funds are held in a eBay bank account first before being forwarded on to the seller? I can't see eBay missing out on rewarding themselves financially with interest using our money. So, refunding people should be pretty straight forward

Lets hope so. What I can't understand is why people would bid that sort of money when someone has such bad feedback.
