Due to yet another inappropriate remark today I felt the need to inform you all of a few things.

Can we please avoid any kind of racist, sexist or homophobic comments. We all like a laugh on here and we all (sorry most of us) make comments that are a little close to the bone sometimes, but agreeing with one of Hitlers policies (for want of a better word for the abhorrent acts that were committed in his name) or posting a link to a BNP website will NOT be tolerated!

For some reason some people on here have started to make such posts and this is a public way of letting them know that WE as a forum will not accept it. If you want to talk about such things elsewhere then that is your prerogative but please dont sully this place (its bad enough as it is) with your small minded bigoted views.

This forum could be easily closed down if someone complains about those posts!

I hope that this is the end of such things.

I guess I can chirp in here.
I freely admit to not exactly being a Liberal, but a few of the views that people have expressed on here recently have been a bit OTT. I know most of us take (MOST of them) with a pinch of salt or as jokes (in admittedly questionable taste) but lets try and keep this place light hearted. None of us want it to go the way of RS with the SW police censoring everything, but at the same time not everyone shares the views espoused and as such I doubt they wanna come on here and have to read them.
Let's just try and keep it to SW and general abuse rather than extreme politics/social policy!
When in doubt feel free to PM a mod or someone else (I'm normally about) and ask if something is appropriate or not.

Although, surely with our huge female membership sexism is hardly a problem?

Ohh and feel free to keep abusing Han about his "Navy days" :wink:

Ohh and for the record........YES, I know I am probably one of the biggest culprits for ehhhh generally questionable and innappropriate comments (RIP Jade). Hopefully though people know I'm joking/taking the piss and I don't mean to offend. Hopefully, also, my comments haven't been preceived as racist/homophobic.

If anyone ever has a problem with anything I say, feel free to call me out about it (in the open or by PM). I'm not gonna get arsey about it, not my style.

Thanks Chris, just to back up what you've said I have had several complaints about such things over the last few months, so everybody's cooperation would be appreciated. Let's keep this place free, uncensored but still welcoming to all.
