Hi guys total newbie here i feel i might have been ripped off im new to collecting vintage figures and recently bought a klaatu and hoth rebel soldier,having read online about fakes im concerned that the two i bought are in fact fake the hoth rebel soldier has stamped on his legs lfl 1980 made in china and klaatu has just lfl 1983 no coo have i been duped here ??

I may be wrong but I can't remember reading about reproduction Rebel Soldiers or Klaatus appearing on the market, definitely not loose versions that's for sure.

If you want people to check them out you will need to post pictures but I'd say you were fine based on the information you've just posted.

I wouldn't have thought so, do the arms and legs bend?

It's normally the weapons that you have to watch out for, drop them in a bowl of water and if they float then they will be legit (although not all weapons/accessories float), check this site out http://www.imperialgunnery.com/ it will be a big help to you when collecting
