Playmobil/play people weapons

Anyone know anything about play people or playmobil weapons?

As a child I swapped my play person pirate ship and figures for a mates star wars figures.

I've now found a few treasure chests full of various play people accessories; muskets, gold tat, knives, pistols etc

Anyone know anyone who is into vintage Playmobil?

What a shame it wasn't vintage Star Wars bits, although I'm still in touch with my friend who I did the swap with, I should ask him if still has any Star Wars weapons.

my little girl loves Playmobil mate, if you no longer want them then I'll happily take them off your hands.

plus we've a little boy due anytime soon so he'll love all that in a few years.

I love play people as i still call them, im a member of this forum here, great set of people but its a bit like RS where they dont like you going off topic.

We still call them Play People too. I just gave our childhood tub to my little nephew. We still have the original yellow camper on display at home

I think i'll speak to my friend who got the pirate ship and see if he wants them (more importantly has he got loads of vintage star Wars weapons, for the figures he gave me years ago)

Looks like te bits are mostly from the pirate sets - guns swords and digging tools

I find it amazing the Playmobil today is virtually indistinguishable from the old stuff, a really timeless toy
