Pieces I've been offered

I've been offered a job lot of the following. I've got a rough idea of what I'm going to offer, I just wondered what others thought. I've asked for pictures but in the mean time is the sellers description:

1. boxed and unopened Star Wars Return of The Jedi Imperial Gunner by Palitoy in English and French with original price tag of £1.59 excellent condition
2. Boxed Klaatu Return of The Jedi made by Kenner with proof of purchase seal in excellent condition in English never opened
3. MTV 7 Return of Jedi by Kenner boxes still sealed and unused with purchase seal in English
4. MLC 3 as above with purchase seal made by Kenner with original price tags of £3.99 in English
5. Rancor Monster boxed unopened excellent condition by Palitoy

Yeah, I guessed that and backed away. It was all a bit odd.

What was the scam?

He started off asking £250, I offered £150 and we settled on £170.

He told me he lived in Canary Wharf, his wife was away and he was having a clear out. He offered to meet me at tube station in town.

I told him that I would be driving and would rather collect from his address in the morning. Then I get the following text:

"Ok that could work. This sounds awful and that I planned it, which I have not since I was happy with your precious offer. However I have just been offered 220 for them from a chap in Essex. Who wants to pick them up at the weekend, I feel dreadful but would you have scope to match that or come close? I am sorry to put you in a position wants your thoughts sincerely Steven"

Told him to let the other guy have them. Expecting a text on Monday.
