Just heard the sad news of Peter Sallis passing away and as I've worked on nearly every Wallace and Gromit project and met him a couple of times over the years it's sad to hear. He was definitely up there in years being 96 so had a fantastic run of it but it's always sad when ever it happens. He was a really warm funny man to meet and I'm glad I had the opportunity to do so, he will be missed by many I'm sure and my best wishes go out to his friends and family.

Sad news indeed. Last of the Summer Wine was one of those innocent, British comedies born in the 70s and harking back to even earlier, simpler times. It was one of the few comedies my dad used to enjoy so has a strong sense of nostalgia associated with it for me.

And he work on Wallace & Gromit made the animations what they were.

One more piece of childhood gone. This middle age business sucks arse.
