People who sent out MOCs in a JIFFY BAG should be shot....

I once has a C8+ Tri logo R2-D2 sensorscope sent to me in a ****ing jiffy bag i was fuming as the bubble got crushed :evil:

I actually only paid £30 for it and the seller gave me a £18 part refund as he was worried about the jiffy bag and was in a rush at the post office and they had no boxes left.

Thankfully the bubble wasnt cracked and i managed after a painstaking hour of using strong bonding tape to get the bubble back to shape. So in the end i had a C8 R2 sensorscope Tri Logo for £12.

I had a similar thing with a nice sealed Chewbacca Bandolier Strap. The bell end folded the top over to get it in a jiffy bag :x It was completely trashed when it arrived. Looked like a steamroller had driven over it...

Well Paypal have sided with him because he responded with 'I packed it sufficently' PAYPAL sucks balls.

So I've NEGGED him and sent him a pic of the figure and a link to this thread.

I once received an AFA 90 graded palitoy Leia Boussh MOC in the post in a small box and the only inside packaging materials was a black bag. The MOcs was rattling about inside the box. Its THE worst boxed up item I have ever received in all my days. Thank fully there was no damage to the item but it could have easily been a different story. Lazy F**kers.

The dickwad has just come back saying that it was advertised a damaged and that because I had bought damaged MOCs before I should be happy with it.

Responded with a plea:

Look at the photo I sent - nothing like the damage that it was advertised with. I have never said it was the card that was damaged. What do you expect to happen, sticking a plastic bubble in a carrier bag and then putting it in a soft jiffy bag. Honestly you have no idea. Please for the sake of collectors out there please do not send those Star Wars figures you have for sale in jiffy bags - put them in a box and increase your postage amount. Shame really as that figure was in good nick now it's not worth much because of the damage to the packaging. At the end of the day it's not the money (£12.00 or whatever) its the fact that this item has been sitting in it's uncrushed bubble for 31 years and because you couldn't be bothered to stick it in a box it's worthless.
I have been collecting for over 10 years and this is far the worse I have seen. I have alerted most of the UK & US forums about this. Please please in future stick them in a box!!
There's damage and then there's damage.
