****ing unbelievable sometimes. A ****ing figure MOC that has been living its life quite happily for 31 ****ing years and some dickwad sends it out in a ****ING JIFFY BAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil: :evil:

i had the same thing happen, although i only paid peanuts for a bib fortuna in c7 condition, it arrived in a jiffy bag with no further protection.

These arrived from the USA in a cardboard envelope - no way of telling what damaged happened during transit as they were beaters in the first place but yeah it does happen.

Strange thing is I normally ask for a box but this time I just got excited at buying some cheap MOC and forgot - Doh.

Wasn't that rare - another vintage Battlestar figure - but getting them from the UK is getting harder.
Asked him for a refund - U grade anyone! :mrgreen:
After 8 years on Ebay this is the first thing that has gone wrong (been lucky) - if he doesn't respond how do I get my money back - is it through Paypal or Ebay?

That sucks....Some ppl are real pricks, its happened to me twice

i won a soundwave on yahoo auctions a few years ago because the box was in great condition it came in a jiffy bag and the flap had been bent over so it could fit in there , i was thoroughly pissed off as it was the box that was all important to me

then just a couple of year i got a boxed action man from ebay, again asking the member what condition the box was in any creases and so on and he said it was excellent... he posted it with some brown parcel paper wrapped around the box and it was crushed to ****... it sort of pissed me off to the point i was hesitant to buy anything of ebay any more incase the condition wasnt as good as i hoped which made me decide to go for already graded items

the seller did give me a full refund though once i sent the item back to him but i would have rather had the mint boxed item

I had a similar thing with a nice sealed Chewbacca Bandolier Strap. The bell end folded the top over to get it in a jiffy bag :x It was completely trashed when it arrived. Looked like a steamroller had driven over it...

I had a seller post me a DV Tie fighter loose in its box with 1 sheet of brown paper celotaped to it. The post man handed it to me along with the dozen or so bits that had fallen out just while it was in his van. Some people just have NO common sense/or they dont give a **** once they have thier money, they'd rather save themselves 10 mins and 27p! Wankers!

Get your money back and neg the wanker.
Then post him some shite in a box!
