pc to lap top

thinking of getting a lap top but went on one other day and it seemed really slow.
what am i to look for to get one that runs fast and allows me to play games on mostly retro games

also has anyone got the mame dvd with the emulator and 3000+ games on mines died on me for a fair price of course

Jabba it all depends how much you want to spend on a laptop. I use my laptop all the time. When am off work its on from time i get up till the time i go to my bed.I also got the pc upstairs. All laptops now will play all the old retro games. As these games dont need much a good graphics card

A laptop is always going to be slower/less advanced than a desktop, it's because they're so small they can't keep the most modern hardware cool enough.

Anything under Ã'£500 is generally garbage, cheaply made and out of date. I'd reccomend a Mac personally, you can run Windows on them now and for the price (from Ã'£699) you get a much higher spec machine made from quality components.

i would rather spend a bit more then have to put up with the speed that one was running at
