Hey guys I've done a deal on a group of mocs from Chris now I think with the time difference I can't get in touch this evening and I would like to pay him ASAP but I'm unsure if I send the payment through paypal in US dollars or GBP if anyone can answer this for me that would be great :)

Ok mate thanks for the fast response I just didn't want to send it in GBP and then it cost Chris to convert it since I don't totally understand how paypal works :)

Thanks again mate.

Hey mate Chris told me the total in US dollars I think it costs me about an extra £3.00 but not fussed about that since its a very cool deal and it will help build my mocs up, but thanks for the time in replying mate.

You can pay however you like Scott. You will get charged a small fee as you are sending a payment to an account outside the UK.

If you pay in ££'s, his account will change it to the equivalent $$'s. Better for you as you know you are sending the right amount. If you decide to send in $$'s, like Frank said, be careful of Paypal's ****ed up exchange rate, you will get stung a little and pay more.

I think the general rule is that you pay in the sellers currency (or at least the one they advertise in) - Paypal have their own exchange rate so I wouldn't be confident that the conversion rates published would be the ones they work to and you may end up short changing him

Thanks for the advice guys I've sent the money in US dollars so Chris doesn't get charged anymore.

Thanks again for your time guys a friend in need is a friend indeed :)
