Parts for sandcrawler needed

Hello chaps,

If any of you have or know of anyone with a working remote control for the vintage Sandcrawler and / or the ladders and battery cover can you let me know. Bought one quite recently (and cheaply) and want to hopefully restore it to working order!

The battery cover is probably there, just tucked away- have another look. The remote R2 remote should work the sandcrawler. Without the remote put new batteries in the crawler, turn it on & it should go forward.

WTF! Thankyou James.. I didn't even realise the battery cover was there, I simply presumed it was missing.. I'll get some batteries and see how it goes and good idea on the R2 remote..
