Palitoy Time Capsule Opening

great find Rich - a snap shot in time

The R2 sticker at the back of the second book brought back memories. I remember picking up a that sticker on a Cornish holiday back in the day. There was a Stormtrooper one too

Only just had the chance to watch it. Awesome stuff Rich, I love the inside out VCJ!
Great stuff :D

Naaah. One of the RS members is an antagonistic cock end. If you don't like it move on. Why criticise. Life's too short. One person coming back and saying that they enjoyed the video is good enough for me. I can't wait to have a look through it when rich gets it down to fordingbridge.

Of all the vectis lots, I think this is probably the most interesting from a historical point of view. I think we paid a good price for it, although time will tell.

This to me is what collecting is about, not AFA numbers and dick swinging when it comes to collectables.

damn straight buddy.

on a side note so did the case of goodness belong to the original owner who sold at vectis or parents of kid?

Good question and I don't know the answer yet. Will find out. Would love to ask about the vcj and if he clearly remembers how it arrived.

To be fair - a lot of people on RS enjoyed it too. Scott Bradley seems a nice guy and was very helpful.
The guy 'the cock' is actually British. Wonder if we beat him in the auction?

Rich,

The number on the inside of the suitcase is a Royal Navy service number.I joined in 2001 & mine began with D250,the suitcase is what you used to keep your kit in years ago then they changed to the big, round kit bags! :D
