Hi, I'm a new collector. Please could someone explain how Palitoy affects the value of a figure?

Thank you

Are you talking loose or carded figures? If carded then are they Star Wars or ESB cards and do they have the logo printed on the cards or not

Your question is quite vague so am not sure if people will be able to give you the answer you want. However, in general the Palitoy logo does add value to MOCs.

The answer to your question: http://www.freewebs.com/mrpalitoy/

Also- buy off Iain (itfciain and other dealers on the forum) you'll get better cards that are described so you know exactly what your getting.

EDIT: I would also save the picture of item and post it here rather than a link otherwise advertising the auction will increase the bids against you.

I think that in this case, the card being a Palitoy one doesn't really add any value. There are people out there collecting Palitoy ROTJ cards but I don't think that they tend to go for any more than the Kenner versions. You do tend to find that the Palitoy ROTJ cards don't have such yellow bubble but when they have used Trilogo bubbles, these have gotten quite damaged.

With this one in particular, I think that it is about on the money right now - but MOCs have been doing well on eBay as of late

Even non logoed palitoy cards have seen a jump in price, some of the mintyer 45b's and 45c's have been doing well as MOC and cardback.

:)
