I remember excitedly waiting for my 'free' figure after collecting name plates, it was part of my childhood collecting/playing I remember sharing with my mum - these were actually some of my more clear memories of getting figures! I remember getting Dengar, the Emperor and Nien Nunb.
As such, I'd be really interested in learning more about them, with a view to starting to collect them.
So, which figures could you get 'free' from Palitoy and which cardbacks and flyers were they advertised on?
45a - Dengar (bounty hunter leaflet - was there a flyer?)
45c/65a/65b - Nien Nunb (flyer?)
But how did we get Fett, Emperor, Rancor Keeper, Admiral Akbar and 4-Lom in the UK?
Does anybody have a ranking for how rare each of the mailers are? Is there anything to look out for - fakes, mismatched baggies, missing leaflets, fake flyers etc?
