Hi guys,

This arrived this morning in the post this morning. It looks genuine to me.
The card has obvious shelf wear and creasing and the bubble has several dings (no cracks). It's not gonna break AFA records but it is a bit interesting.

I have no knowledge about miscards, and i'm not even sure if i'll end up keeping him.

I know something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay, and this may not float any ones boat but i'd be curious to know if this is worth anything.

I'd appreciate your thoughts, :)

Thanks in advance

oh, not obvious in the photos but the General is complete with his lame stick!

From what I can see it looks good - certainly the cardback is genuine and the bubble looks OK (if not a bit beat up)

It is a genuine Palitoy miscard yep, there are a few out there :)

Nice pick up despite the condition, I'd say it's "worth" about £90-120.

Considering I know how much Jez paid for that, I think he will be a happy bunny

I gave him a value of around £50 because of the damage but miss cards do seem to be all the rage at the moment !

Wow  , gulps, i may list this then!! :D

Or ask Iain to list it for me as he seems to be the Ebay Don!

Thanks Joe :)

Anyone think i've over done the smiley faces today? :?:

You are best angling for a Chewie focus collector if possible but yeah the miscard market is quite good at the moment so I say try your luck. It is a nice little piece, I think Edd owned one once, he might be able to tell you what he sold it on for a few years back :)

Crazy small world Joe!!

I've sent Edd a message.

Nipping out now for a couple of hours. I'll see what gets back to me.

Cheers

Thanks Jason, its the first miscard i've had in hand.
It is kind of cool.

I'm really pleased to say that Edd will shortly be reunited with his Chewie/Madine Pali miscard.

The Star Wars community cracks me up; A MOC can get sold to someone on the other side of the planet (the seller almost instantly regrets the sale), but 6 years later and after travelling the globe yet again, it is returned to the seller!

I wonder how many people have owned this MOC.

The upshot being; Edd is happy, i've got cash from Edd, which i've sent to Jorn for a Popy (I'm happy), Jorn has received my cash, which goes towards his Grail, Jorns happy (as he doesn't have to sell the flat!)

Good times!!

p.s Good for you Joe, it staggers me that you knew Edd had one of those over 6 years ago!!

I was bidding on this, you got a bargin mate. I've over spent this month so had to stop bidding. Congrats mate. Great stuff

Did you notice the seller had a chewie on the Jedi card that failed to sell for a tenner?

The other carded figure had been opened, his ad was a bit vague, but on asking, he admitted that it was an opened bubble.
