palitoy factory in yorkshire

strange one. a few years ago i was talking to a friend who told me that a member of his family worked at a palitoy factory near boston spa in north yorkshire, specifically on the starwars line. now he wasn't a billy bullshitter and wasn't trying to impress...it was more of a passing comment at the time. i've not read or heard of any such plant t'up north but was wondering if anyone else had. my guess is that he was wrong...might have been a family member working for another star wars licensee at the time and not the toy line. my understanding is that coalville was the only site???

As far as I know Coalville Leicester was the only location of the Palitoy factory.

That was all that was said when we did the Palitoy Archive at Celebration Europe

In fact we did another one in Leicester and people from Coalville factory were there.

Sadly nothing to do with star wars. He said how he was testing out various board games such as Colditz

Yeah, that's what I thought, he must have been confused and must have been another Star Wars product supplier? or a distirbution center for the North of Palitoy products?
