Palitoy Carded Luke Jedi With Blu Sabre

Read somewhere there was quite a debate ongoing about whether or not the Palitoy Luke Jedi ever came with a blue sabre. Thought I'd add my own fuel to the fire. This is one I had until about 3 years ago when I did my last money making exercise. -






This was a genuine sealed on card figure, there was some flaking down one side of the bubble but figure was firmly attatched. I stress that I no longer have this figure, I sold it on E-Bay for about £125 if I remember correctly. At the time I wasn't aware of how rare it was and like so many other things I've let go of I now deeply regret it

I've seen a blue sabre on a trilogo- so its possible. I feel that its worth more than £125.

Deffinately in todays market, but it was over 3 years ago when I let this guy go, along with my carded Yak, Han Carbonite, Death Star Droid, Luke X-Wing ........... list goes on and on lol. I've still got the photos I used to list them on E-Bay, I often look at them just to torture myself lol

That's a 65c, also have 65b and 70b confirmed on my matrix.

Yep it sure does exist, I have one myself that I posted on the forum a while back.
'Mr Palitoy' added this 65c to his matrix. Mine is quite unique having 2 blue sabres in the bubble 8)

There is another blue sabre Luke Jedi coming up for auction on Vectis later this month.

Gutted to say the least. Especially now that I know the value. Interesting story behind how I got the carded figures. As previously stated I had this around 3 or 4 years ago. I was browsing E-Bay one day, saw an auction for a Imperial Dig on a battered card, the seller stated she had a few more figures that had been stored away for years and was going to list them in the coming weeks. Thought I'd take a chance and emailed her to enquire about what other figures she had. Nearly fell off my chair when she replied saying she had a few including one called Yak Face . I took a chance (bidding blind as I hadn't seen any of the figures) and made her a bit of a cheeky offer, which surprisingly she accepted. Anyways, sent her the agreed payment and a few days later received the package containing some excellent quality products, was well chuffed until I had to sell them

What makes it even worse though is the amount I actually paid her back then compared to what it's going to cost me now to replace them. The figures I got where -

Yak Face, Han Carbonite - paid £50 each 8)
Luke Jedi (blue sabre), Boba Fett, Luke X-Wing, Death Star Droid - paid £25 each :shock:

Cost to replace in the current market - £1000's :x

I've still got the photos I took when I relisted them on E-Bay (have already posted a few on this forum)
