I was looking at my palitoy 45 carded bespin guard the other day and noticed that the card has a different texture between front and back. The front is of standard texture but the rear is more glossy and more akin to the tri-logo type cards. Could you please have a look at your 45 backs and tell me if you've got any examples like this? Just to narrow it down a bit it has a stem bubble. Cheers bri

I've seen loads of MOCs with different finishes on the front/back, so wouldn't worry about it.

No difference on my Han Hoth card back, but the Esb 45 is rare so I'm not sure how many examples you'll get

That in itself will be an interesting study :)

Jason is probably your man

Have a shed load of 45 backs, can't say I've ever focussed on card texture before.

If your've got a stem bubbled white bespin on empire 45 could you please check this for me. Cheers

Just got the cardboard for these, no bubbles. Have some AFA graded 45 backs, about 8 or so.

Well I'm just interested in finding out about the finish on the backs of the cards, could you please let me know if any have a tri-logo glossy style. Cheers

Even Trilogos have variations in the cardstock and can have both matt and glossy backs. I understand your interest but I wouldn't worry if the reason for your interest is legitimacy concerns.

Okay thanks Joe and everyone else, I bought it years ago anyway but did want to confirm legitimacy.

Best thing you can do is sling a picture on :) I am sure it's fine though!
