Palace Blaster for Lando General

The Retroblasting YouTube video about figures hands is very good:

Becareful i forced a weapon into a wbg hand and it chipped the paint :?

Also yak faces dont like those pikes. There hands are prone too chipping!

Also be careful with with solo trenchcoat, the hands are not that happy with blasters

That's good advice.

If inserting the weapon is a tight fit, I usually stretch a figure's hand carefully by hand first before inserting a weapon. Plastic has a certain amount of give to it, so gently pulling apart the figure's thumb and fingers with your own fingers to widen the gap usually allows for a painless insertion (insert your own dirty joke here ;-)), and without much risk of paint chipping. Obviously however, if you do adopt this method, for god's sake be careful not to use too much force and snap off a thumb!

Lando General is one of the worst in my experience. Also Teebo and Paploo are a real struggle to squeeze that staff in sometimes.

Great video, always a good watch. But let's face it in the 80's vintage Star Wars was the dogs Bollucks and still is. :D

It's certainly a tight fit, but I find using a 'rolling' technique usually helps with round cross section weapons like Ewok spears and axes. If the figure's thumb and hand are too stiff to use the stretching method I described above, place the weapon against the figure's thumb, and then roll / push in the side against his fingers. It's certainly easier than trying to force the weapon in all at once as you tend to push against the thumb and can even push the thumb inwards, narrowing the gap between fingers and thumb rather than widening it.

Hope that helps :)
