Hi guys,

I know this has been covered a few times, but I have just come across a very good way of packaging a MOC to avoid any real possible damage, unless the box is stamped on!

So you start with your Star Case & MOC:

Then take a piece of Polystyrene and cut to the shape of the internal dimensions of the Star Case, including depth so that the MOC can lay flat on top.

Place inside the Star Case making sure to cut out a hole for the size of the bubble required. Then lay the MOC on top and seal the Star Case:

There you have the finished product, due to the hardness of the polystyrene, there should be no damage, plus it gives extra support to the bubble, so if you cut it just right even when the figure moves it shouldn't pop through the top, bottom or sides!

Wrap in bubble wrap and then I placed in a jiffy bag:

I then placed some more Polystyrene top and bottom of the MOC and sealed in a strong box.

Hope this helps!

Any questions please ask. I would be happy to make these up for people if there is demand?!

Thanks.

Bram

Great 'How To' thread. That really does look to be the most straight forward way I've seen to sent a carded figure securely. I know I'd be very happy to receive an item packed this way. :D

We should combine them all in a sticky thread imo.
