just wondering what everyones planning on getting new station or new xbox and there reasons. i have a ps3 and lad has xbox but ps3 gets loads more hammer so prob go for ps4 .
also not heard a release date yet so would now be a good time to cash in on me ps3 rather then getting pennies for it when ps4 comes out

Yes sell your ps3 now! Lol

I'm def messing with the PS4, just so I could get in the loop and play against the homies on-line. I'm more of a Nintendo Head, so everybody got jokes on me cause all I play is NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube & Wii. Lmao I plug in the Genesis every now and then :D

Sorry for going off topic & Babbling

Def get that PS4!

Hi mate.

Defo PS4 for me mate. 8) Had Playstation from the start and never played an xbox console.

More Details, Release date (Think its sometime Sep/Oct 2013) price spec etc will be released at E3 Expo on 11-13th June

Not long to wait now :D :D

I would only get a PS4 if it's backwards compatible. If not then forget it ...until the prices drop. Do we know how much they're going to be? The complete bastard of all this is that i recently had to buy a replacement PS3 following the old YLOD. Got an exchange unit for £100 so it's not too bad but the console ate my Black Ops 2 so had to buy that again. Bummer

Doubt it'll be backwards compatible x-pack - would happily pay more if it was though. Pretty shocking that Sony expect us to write off all our games if we want the latest hardware

Def' no backwards compatibility for PS4 lads... Just keep your PS3 to solve that

Xbox one is going a step further, extra charges on pre-owned games, I think you will have to pay to unlock a pre owned game and use it.

PS4 all the way for me, like Liam, been Playstation all my life.

My borther and I were talking about this while wandering round London Zoo yesterday.

We reckon PS4 will be no more than £400, if they go any higher they risk not selling many units as it will be too expensive.

Microsoft have, IMO, made a major **** up with the new Xbox one for 2 reasons. The first being that you have to connect to the internet at least once in every 24 hours. Now I know the majority of gamers have and are connected to the interent all the time, but it still sucks. There are prob still people out there that dont have the interent or dont connect their games console to it. The second reason is this second hand game bullshit. Once I spend £50 to buy a game, that game is mine. I dont understand how they can stipulate what you can do with that game once you have bought it. A lot of people cant afford to buy new games everytime so rely on the second hand market. Basically the publishers and developers are holding gamers over a barrel and forcing them to spend more money. If they really want there cut of second hand games, a % of the SH game price should go to the publisher/developer, not cut them out all together.

Xbox all the way. June the old Nintendos are cool as... I still go back to retro gaming myself. I wouldn't mind getting the Wii U because a lot of the old titles. Anyway ditch those PS3/4s and get a real machine Xbox of course.

Vote for Grant, Vote for Grant! I was Playstation all my life as wer all my friends and we hated Xbox with a passion. 1 day we just got that sick of online lag constantly on PS3 that we bought 360's and we have never looked back. I'm not berating Sony as i bought 2 of my kids PS3's for their bedrooms due to free online play and blu rays and i also have a PS3 but it gets very little use unless i'm playing a Sony exclusive. I will buy both new machines but only know as much about them as you guys but **** it i love technology. The main diffo to me all the way down the line is at least for your £40 a year live subs you know Microsoft can afford to pay peeps a **** load of wonga to moderate and keep things running smoothly. I will end by saying the Xbox One console looks blocky, bulky and shite. In this day and age why are we still gonna have a seperate Kinect camera? :D

And the ps4 will be backwards compatible (after a later update) priced at £349 and not have the issue with trade-in games. Think that's a winner.

Xbox graphics card is already dated as nvidia have just released the new gen. and the console isn't even out yet. Claiming a 4000 output but using HDMI as an output so surely that's 1080 max?

I think Xbox is giving up on serious games IMHO

I heard Xbox One was not competing on a graphics level as before. The visual capabilities will be improved but not pushed as far as usual on a next gen jump. I would guess the PS4 would be a graphical powerhouse.

Graphics play their part but its a small part for me, I like the Wii U but don't really care that it won't compete with either PS4 or XB1 visually.

theree both coming out on same day in november.ps3 is 80 pound cheaper .i be grudge xbox simply cause of the extra 40 pound for internet. gonna go for station as it sounds like their all about gaming so if anyone wants me ps3 lol.though i,ll prob weigh lads xbox in for new one when price drops

another question .when i sell me station do i have to pay 40 for xbox so i can use me love film

I have got a deposit on the PS4... well a pre-order on a pre-order
