What a terrific Six Million Dollar Man! I had the same one as a child, and really weirdly, I too now only have the two circuit boards left! I know why I've held onto them as an adult, but I have no idea why I did so as a child

Anyway, thanks for sharing such a wonderful toy :)

Hello Snaketibe snap but my one seems to be longer than yours  was my one the leg one so long ago I can't remember, found my old 6mdm track suit badge and kenevils helmet as well :)
Wow, the colours on that patch, so indicative of the time!
If you put that on your shirt, I think everyone would notice it, i love it.

Hi Bosk70 (Matt, right?), Cool photo! My own Six Million Dollar Man was the one which came with the engine block, and it only had removable circuit boards in his right arm, which got covered up by that flesh-coloured rubber sleeve that broke really easily! However, they made many different Steve Austin figures, so I'm quite sure they will have probably made one with circuit boards in his legs as well. I'm not 100% sure, but I think mine was one of the earlier ones. I know another came with a steel girder rather than an engine block, but I never owned that one :-(

Thanks.

Jeremy

Hello Jeremy and Michael
I also had the early engine block one, i was sure this came from it , had a quick look on the link Michael, thanks, and could not see a close up of the boards, I also had the repair station as well maybe it came with that all good fun thou, think i will put the patch on my shirt tomorrow and see if anyone at work notices it :)" bustin steve austin" as i think the saying went back in the day :D
Cool! I hope they like the patch :)

I have just gone hunting on Google for better pics of the version I owned, and have managed to shamelessly steal these:

Your circuit board is obviously different from mine, but hopefully some of the other excellent forum members can help pinpoint which Steve Austin version yours is from, as it would be good to know :)

Ah man I have loved reading through your replies - so much love for this great toy 8) 8) 8)

The only thing I had from my childhood figure was his Bionic chip - absolutely no idea what happened to the figure but the chip has had pride of place on my desk for years. Really cool that so many others have managed to keep theirs as well. Funny that the small accessories from SW toys get lost but in this case we all loose the figure and kept the tiny bit of plastic. Forget all this SW nonsense lets start a forum for the Bionic Chip

Never had the repair station but I do remember seeing the Big Foot toy in shops and wanting it as well

That patch is great, really makes me want to track down something similar and wear it to work. My wife and daughter also got me an annual, paperback and a boxset so taking my time going through them. Every time a new episode comes on I never skip past the opening credits - they are just too good to miss.

This bloke does a great video of the whole line of toys

Have you been chewing that chip looks like it to me, I have vague memories of chewing one of his shoes so your not alone  I've got the same annual to, can you shed any light on my odd shaped chip

Everybody sure does love that chip.

I know by just looking at that arm feature with the chip, that if i'd have had this toy when I was growing up I would have been fascinated with that. I was always captivated by small miniature toys and little gadgets & weapons that came with toys, so I know I would have loved this figure.

Mate I kid you not - I was telling my wife the other day about how I loved the smell of his trainers back in the day

Just had a wee Google to see if I could find your chip - all the while secretly hoping it came from the Bionic Woman :D

It's "Monsterizin' Time" in the Remco Mini Monster display! Time to get their glow on. Woo hoo! :)

This was by far the toughest piece to track down, but patience paid off. Couldn't resist testing it out. Luckily I had a D battery laying around in my toolbox for some reason. The bulb still works!

My new addition which arrived yesterday, Prince Adam MOC, waited over a year to get this one and it's in gorgeous condition with a very nice crystal clear bubble which you practically never ever see. Unfortunately there's about an inch around the bubble which is no longer sealed so had to get a partial refund on it, with that being said it's still in beautiful condition.

Looks great alongside He-Man, next stop... Skeletor! :)

They are so nice, Prince Adam and He-Man next to each other look so good. Are you going for the first 8? If you ever need someone to house sit for you I'm your man!

They are flippin awesome. 8)

Thanks, MOTU do look amazing in the packaging with the design and colours, but yeah I think i'll pass on the house sitting thing thanks haha.

Nah not gonna bother trying to complete anything as such, just after several of the main ones and also either a boxed Panthor or Battlecat, figure wise I probably will eventually get a couple of other childhood ones for nostalgia like Orko and Man At Arms, or Sy Klone or Ram Man.

That's a super hard piece to find and I'm really glad you managed to score one. They come up now and then and I remember seeing one with it's box before I left the US but the price is always very high. Hope it didn't break the bank for you but even if it did it's a gorgeous item that I'd also love in my Remo Monsters collection (I have both non and glow and glow set loose and creature and phantom carded but always wanted the play set as well(.

Thanks for sharing this and also getting to see it lit! :D

Thanks so much Ian! It wasn't cheap by any means, but considering how tough it is to find one in mint condition, it wasn't too bad. I'm stoked to finally have one. I keep staring at it every time I walk past it. :)

I'm keeping my eyes open for a box for it now. That may be a tougher feat than the toy itself, but I have Jedi like patience. Lol

Two additional items to my Vincent/Blackhole collection.

Firstly a big thank you to Rich H for bringing this windup Vincent down to FF today from Vectis, very much appreciated.

Just googled it and it seems I must have shamelessly stolen my sister's bionic woman's chip, mystery ended full points to Colin :D

Great Black Hole items and I have a few of those lunch tins from different franchises and love them, your one looks to be in great shape.

Ian

Many thanks
I never looked at these before, a few together would make a great display.
May look out for these more often.
