Recently been sorting out my Jurassic Park and Lost world collection made a few purchases recently.

Just added this absolute peach to my Mask collection, MISB Euro Thunderhawk. I don't think I had one of these as a kid so really pleased to finally own one (shame I can't play with it!)

That looks great Edd, never owned any as a kid or an adult but have to say the Mask boxes look fantastic.

I've added a few small bits to my childhood focus including some matchbox and a MIB G1 Seeker Jet- Dirge
The Air Italia airport coach MISB is probably my favourite as it compliments my childhood survivor

Great pickups guys, I like those monsters figures iv'e never seen those before, and some Indiana Jones figures all in fantastic condition well done on those, and also the Transformers I always love seeing those they take me right back, I have a MOC yellow Bumblebee which reminds me of being about 4 years old playing with my older brothers one, those boxed Matchbox are also very nice, I always used to love the box colours and art which was what stood out to me as a kid.

Great full run of both sets, they look magnificent together :D

I've been tempted by the Remco Monsters and have a complete loose run of both glow and non-glow versions but no mocs. I passed on a pretty nice wolfman glow moc yesterday for $55 which maybe I should have grabbed but I feel it might be best not to start any more moc runs.

Great artwork on these though and the new Super7 monsters that are coming out this year have great artwork on them also, I'll have to get a set of them...oh no, more moc runs!!

Thanks man. I love the Remco monsters and these particular ones came out in the very early 80's. They did the larger Mego style dolls before, then I think were trying to capitalize on the Star Wars 3 3/4" craze of the time. The sculpts are great and I love the packaging. They also have the most unique bubbles I've ever seen.

Thanks Paul. I totally agree, the cardback art is really cool.

I did the same thing Ian. Started off with a loose run and was content. I then found a Dracula MOC for cheap so I snagged it, then my OCD kicked in and I really wanted to get a full run. I had a mix of Glow and Non Glow, then decided to try to get them all as the non glow versions on card. I know, I need counseling or something. :)

I hadn't seen the new Super7 monsters coming out. Those are sweet and really have the Remco vibe to them. The cardback art is great as it has the 50's style monster poster look with the bright colors. Thanks for sharing the link!

If you do get serious about starting a carded run of the Remco's, let me know. I might be able to help you out.

Yes the card art on those Super7 ones is amazing and Super7 have really delivered for me over the years. I think there are a lot of us on here with a touch of OCD when it comes to our collecting, it just seems to happen  If for this reason I've tried to resist picking up any Remo mocs but it is hard. The non glow were the versions I was thinking of getting originally as the card art is unspoiled by the glow text but it's a fairly short run to get so there's probably room for both sets (not trying to give you any ideas though!).

Thanks for the offer of helping out, it's very tempting but I'm packing up the house here in Portland at the moment and the shipping costs are $10K already and I'm starting to get worried that I won't be able to fit everything in the container :? I'm thinking it's probably time to have a slight rethink about my collecting habits as it may have gotten slightly out of hand whilst I've been in the states. Still, there are some very nice things to pick up over here and that's one big thing I'm going to miss about it. At least I'll be reunited with some of my old toys once I get back.....still tempted though by the mention of the Remco's

Been after this little sucker for well over a year now, you can find one every now and then but they're always in very or extremely poor condition and for high prices, so iv'e been holding out for a better one and finally spotted this beauty. It's mint, i'm talking factory fresh and never used, i'm amazed at how pristine this is i'm so happy! :)

Another important piece of my childhood that's finally come back home to papa!

I agree this thread is amazing, full of all-sorts of cool items I forgot or didn't know existed. :)

More great items gents. You may remember a while ago one of my colleagues let me have his Dreamcast well a week or so ago I came into work to discover he'd only gone and found the original box! And it's a minter!

Great stuff!

I really don't remember seeing these in the shops.

They were pretty tough to come by. I remember seeing Toht's and Cairo Swordsman hanging on the pegs, but never saw an Indy or a Marion. I think that is a big reason the line didn't succeed. Kids wanted the heroes and when they couldn't find them, what's the point of getting the others honestly.

Here are a couple other sets I got recently. A set of loose Kenner Butch and Sundance, The Early Years figures and a set of carded Legend of the Lone Ranger figures and the 3 horses that went along with them. These were really the last of the Western figures as kids were all about Star Wars by the late 70's/early 80's. It didn't help that neither of those movies were very good. They are really great looking figures though.

PS: Do you see the resemblance of Butch and Sundance by chance? Doppelgangers of Luke and Han no doubt. :)

I also had some fun re-creating this iconic scene from Raiders. :)

"Hey, you now... Come here!"

Another great couple of MOC runs!
I suspect that those carded horses are difficult to find in that condition, as I bet those are a heavy piece of plastic waiting to break free?
I've never seen those Lone Ranger figures carded.
And yes you're right the film was dreadful.

Seahawks, that's a great set.
I have the loose figures, except buffalo bill from my childhood.
I also have the black horse which thanks to you, I know is Smoke.
Could you post a photo of the back of the cardbacks of figure and horse?
Thanks.

Just picked up this lovely sealed Condor. A guy on eBay is breaking up a case of them and I've kept missing them since December, finally bagged one.

This is one of the only toys from my childhood I remember buying and opening. The memory sticks out because I thought the helicopter blades were missing, I didn't know they folded out
