Thought I'd bring my Transformers together for a photocall before I sell them (or at least some of them). I don't collect them I'm just lucky enough to have these from when I was a kid. But I have a Star Wars habit to feed and a possible house move coming up so now feels like a good time...

Wow that's a very impressive Transformer collection you have there

I really like this toy line but never had any growing up. I do have a few now but would love to add a boxed Prime at some point. Best of luck with the sales and hope the money helps out, it looks like you could do well from what I can see of the condition, you were a very lucky boy growing up!

Seahawks love what you have done with the Indy dioramas and Andy thanks for posting the Madballs poppers, I had a couple of those as a kid but had totally forgot about them until now!

Those diorama display boxes are a great idea, beats a more static/boring display that's for sure! Have you got them on permanent display?

Thanks Joe. They are semi permanent as the wife doesn't appreciate them in the house, but I have my corner in the garage to admire them. :)

Nice indy collection... really well displayed too :)

Appreciate it Scott. They were fun to put together. My oldest daughter helped me with the idol diorama and even helped me paint the custom Satipo figure.

Picked this up today, the ship is pristine and all parts there, still sellotaped into the base packaging.

Have a joint collection of some MOTU stuff and couldn't resist this one, a precursor to the MOTU line.

The Blackstar figure line was based of the 1981 cartoon series that only ran 13 episodes. John Blackstar was an astronaut who flew through a black hole, crashed and was stranded on the planet Sagar.

Warlock was released in two versions as well as the Space Ship. The red version of the Space Ship seems to be a European release only.

The Blackstar series had notable similarities to MOTU which was released shortly afterwards.

Nice! Don't see a lot of black star these days. I used to have a few of the laser light figures and the wind machine... Not something in my collection anymore though.

Seen the ship on ebay a couple of times.

Love the basic simplicity of the ship, now need a John Blackstar figure to go with it

I loved the toy line, the sculpts on everything were really good. might have to start a run again now :)

Thought I'd post some pictures up of my Halloween cabinet display I did on the weekend. There are only a few vintage bits here but I thought I'd share. The last picture is of a Haunted house I have that my son put his Halloween related toys in, it's always nice for the kids to have something to play with when daddy's toys are all out of reach

Cheers Joe, it's where I've been sinking my money into recently and I must admit that I've been having a good time of it :D

Thanks for the comment and looking forward to seeing some of your vintage goodness. I only have the one display cabinet so tend to rotate items fairly regularly, it's fun to do and keeps me interested in the hobby.

I find this thread on of my favorites just because of the varaition, love the fright night pics too, loved that film as a kid.

i think i will dig out either centurions, karate kid or A-Team next

I'm a bugger for all thing Halloween-y, Ian. Great stuff. My small horror collection isn't vintage items but I'll find a place to show you them, as threatened on the LA thread. I got a new/old-ish on-topic figure this week post I'm going to put up at the weekend.

Are those 12" They Live figures customs?

The They Live figures are from a company called distinctive Dummies and they're inspired by the old Mego dolls and are around 8" tall. I've really gotten into them recently and if you like the They Live ones I'm sure you're going to love these that have just arrived - http://www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/horror-contemporary-item-listj-c-16_223/halloween-michael-myers-and-dr-loomis-8-retro-mego-style-figure-2-pack-p-22631

These figures come out once a month with no one knowing what the next release is and are limited to around 60 made per single figure pack and 75 double packs made so they don't go up for sale for much longer than a day before they're all gone. I just need Amy to complete the full set of Fright Night figures and then I'll just see what turns up each month. It's quite fun not knowing what's next but there are always surprises.

Look forward to seeing your goodies (and I can never work out where to post these modern items so I always sneak a little vintage into the cabinet as well ) .

Ian
