I have a few Advanced Dungeon and Dragon's figures both loose and MOC. Again a bit like the Thundercat MOC's some MOC's are incredibly difficult to track down and command stupidly high prices.

Paul....I've never been into Dungeons and dragons, there is a local antique place to me with stalls, one guy has quite a bit of retro stuff, has some vintage SW, but silly prices.

Did notice he had quite a few dungeons and dragons, next time I go I will take a pic, if there is anything catches your eye, ill pick it up for you...you never know,

Love those LJN AD&D figures (I take it that's the ones you mean?). I've got a complete loose set of series one and some of the second series that I took a shine to. Really nice sculpts on them and I remember playing with them growing up. They were the last action figures I had when I was a young teen and just had to get them again once I'd remembered them in later life. Fortunately for me I didn't feel the need to go all out for them sealed as it's cost enough with this whole Star Wars collecting thing.

I had a few from series one when I was a kid, I think they broke or were chucked out when we moved. Remember having the two wizards.

I have some loose and some MOC now as an adult collector, both from series one and the much rarer series two. Some from the second series command very high prices and are much much more difficult to track down than the ones from the first series.
I like the bright colours and variety of the series.
I don't collect the playsets, or monsters some or the other more obscure things associated with the series just the 'normal figures'

Same for me, there's only so much space in my world and most of it has Star Wars in it :lol:

My Wife Karen collects lost of different fantasy based toy lines but AD & D figures are her favourite. She has quite a lot of them MOC, along with some of the other items in the range. I saw them in the shops originally and admired the quality but I was collecting Star Wars like mad.

Karen collects MOU, Thundercats, Golden Girl and Sectaurs. I'm glad of that, as I first met her when she walked into my old sci-fi shop in Croydon and I asked her out on the spot. She often jokes that she bought some MOU figures and got the shop manager free!

Are there any Sectaurs collectors around these parts? I wonder if anyone would agree with me that the range is meant to depict tiny characters that have been 'blown up' in scale. Karen has a Sectaurs colouring book that depicts them living in a tree trunk. That's one big tree if Sectaurs are human sized!

Agreed on those action force. Never really had many as a kid. My cousin took the piss out of my sw toys because they aren't as bendy as AM.

Not something I've really thought about TBH, but would imagine it will be the case :roll:

The classic collection of Thundercats is good, but again it's the modern v vintage question.

You can pick up the Thundercats loose vintage fairly cheap, but certain figures are commanding higher prices and mocs are daft money.

Picked these up for my lad today

They are 80 s sealed baggies but that's all I know

Complete with weapons and mint

They are the original sculpt with bulge muscles stand out veins and no pupils on the eyes
The Baggie packaging is very much like the first release mocs, where the artwork was taken direct from the comics and was very naive and basic.

Just a bit peeved that Mikey was not there :evil:

Does anyone have any idea on these, Is there any value to these...does anyone know?

I think all the first Series were released with the matchbox logo. Matchbox MOC's were only released in Europe instead of LGN.

Don't think any of the second series were though.

mike i really like those tent figures. I've never seen them packaged that way, was it only released overseas that way?

haven't been on the forum due to collecting outside of star wars, I've sold all my figures to fund my new collection. don't really have the funds to do all, so have to pick just one one day i will get a loose collection going again.
