Other Vintage Collections

The Transformers one is my favourite all time album/sticker set. It arranges the stickers in a very cool way with pages dedicated to characters a bit like the way football albums had a page dedicated to each team. Most other albums from that time were just a random bunch of stickers attempting to tell some rubbish story. In that, the Transformers album stands out as one of the all time greats.

How much do they sell for? I may try to get hold of one in the future.

I sold a Transformers album and sticker set recently on ebay for £109. Had it listed for about 2 weeks and it went. I sold 2 Thundercats albums and sets for the same price but earlier this week i sold just the sticker set for £150!! The Thundercats albums i have a few of have been selling steadily for £35 each.
I love these albums from the mid 80s. Wish i could keep them all but the prices they go for it's far more fun to keep them for a little while until they sell!
If you don't want mint, unused examples of these, complete, used albums come up for sale all the time for around £10-£20 on ebay. There's a couple up now.

Thanks for that. I'd really like to add one of these to my small Transformers collection one day.

I do like those sticker albums, I remember my brother having that Thundercat one. I don't remember them being that common even back in the day.

My turn now and in another corner we have COBRA!!!!!

when i was a kid, i had a series of transformers books in which you could determin the story by choosing what actions the characters should take etc. it was almost multiple choice.

for example:
if bumblebee goes back to cybertron, go to page 72
if he goes to get optimus prime, go yo page 90

that kind of thing anyway.
did anyone else have anything like this?. i've had a quick look on ebay, but cant see anything.

not at the moment. i can feel an afternoon in the folks loft coming on. i only ask because they were bloody ace, and my boys is at age where he could read them himself.
i must find these

Could be the Transformers 'Find your Fate' books, couple of them o the 'Bay now

Those books were the best but I never did one properly, I used to read each option and go with the best outcome to progress through the book
