the new matty collector line of ghostbusters is really cool, i collect the he man ones, the quality and articulation are brilliant, i wish i had got the ghostbusters now, they did a nice ghost trap too.

Been thinking of starting a motu classics collection, but the joints on those put me off, looks so rubbery...
I'm gonna save up for the Voltron classics from Matty though, that's one HUGE Voltron :p

The joints are spot on for most of them, there have been a few design flaws here and there but they are superb, get yourself one first, i have a load for sale if you wanted any?

im only collecting the original set, they are bringong out far too many varients and POP characters for me.

Joe: Nice Mumm-ra, so the one you've got is the one pictured on the boxes?
I loved the old show, have been watching the new one too, but I think the animation is sloppy, the design of the characters are top notch though, but I don't really like how they're not from another planet this time...
I got myself the Collectors Ed. Lion-O for Christmas, and that one's awesome.

ODB: love the g.i.joes, but where is the OG StormShadow? :p
I've been thinking of getting back my old collection, my old neighbour has them, and he's stopped collecting, he actually wanted to sell them the last time we spoke, may give him a call soon :p

Edit: Just went through a box with lots of paperwork and books, and found this, by no means a recent buy, but I had totally forgot that I had this, a nice little surprise :)

I love the M.A.S.K toys, they still hold up today, considering buying my faves from that line when economy is more stable.
I just have dvdrips of season 1, love the intro music, gives me chills :p

M.A.S.K. was one of my favorites as a kid, always wanted Rhino :D only ever managed Condor  .

They could re release those toys today and they would still hold their own, brilliantly designed.

Hi Tundra, No British campaign medals were presented after hostilities had finished and as this gentleman died it would have been presented to his immediate family. Only gallantry awards were presented to recipients before hostilities ended and these are few and far between I do own a couple of Galantry groups that were presented to an individual who later went on to be killed. Here is a galantry award To Frank Davie from the Hull pals which was presented to the recipient, He moved around all the Hull battalions before he was commisioned as an officer so his entry in the London Gazette states the 10th he was at that time in the 14th battalion and his medal for Gallantry is stamped to the 14th (MM) On the left of the picture the other two being his campaign awards which were sent to the familiy after WW1 had finished showing his later rank of 2nd Lieutenant ...If any of that makes any sense :) Here is his Write up which states it was awarded by the mayor of Hull.

And here is his CWGC entry

Ah ok, always thought medals and jewelry previously owned by dead people were a weird thing to collect :p
Looks kinda nice though, like it was worn with pride :)

I can totally understand the Creepy factor behind Medal collecting, The sad thing is a lot of these guys did die during the conflicts they fought in especially WW1, Collectors of British awards have literally 100s of available resources to trace these guys through and i think its important even after 157 and 94 and years after these guys died there story can still be told which has all come through ownership of awards.

I have a few German WW2 medals lying about, I bought them when I was younger, I dunno why I bought them TBH!

Ehhhh I have idea where the **** they even are TBH. Lying in my folks somewhere. Will try and remember to dig them out

I was an absolute Panini nut when i was a kid. Still am.
These are sets i sold ebay recently and 4 of my favourite sets as a kid.

Panini sticker albums was the shiznizz!! I had Return of the Jedi, He-man and transformers, never completed them though.
I have my ROTJ album in a box somewhere, maybe it's time to give it some fresh air :p

Pete

I love the Transformers album. Brings back some memories. How much do they sell for? I may try to get hold of one in the future.
