I always like hearing other people's interests in sports and hobbies. All that sort of stuff you guys do appeals to me. Was actually thinking of trying that krav Maga sometime. Before I got married I back packed alot around the world that's my first love adventure :) And reading about autobiographies of other people's adventures like Scott, Shackleton and Ranulph fiennes. I used to play alot of football and to fill the void took up rock climbing. Progressed on to winter mountaineering and i try to get over to Scotland once every year in the winter to climb. Have a wee lad now so didn't get this year. The highest I have got so far is around 6000 meters. Have done that a few times last one was Mt Elbrus in Russia. Met a few guys from England on the mountain and they helped me make the top. Don't think would have made it solo. It took about a week to get up and down safely. There's still a small flame burning to see if I can climb higher :? But I will put that on the back burner for now until the little lad finds his feet. And on the marathon des Sables I remember watching jack Osbornes personal trainer trying it on tv. It nearly finished him and he was fit. My neighbour up the road rebuilds old cars I think he has an escort but not sure. Cars wouldn't be my strong point. But I have seen them and they are mint I can't imagine how much he has spent over the years.
