Thanks for all of the support I’ve received for my blog that focuses on vintage SW collectors.
Mods I will update here every time I do a major interview if that’s okay?
I’m excited to present my second full length interview – this time with Bill McBride. We all know Bill so I’m not going to bother introducing him!

VINTAGE STAR WARS COLLECTORS | A blog by a collector about collectors
I’m stoked at the support I’ve received both on my FB page, on Twitter and on the blog. As I said when I posted the last interview here (with Alex Magraw) I am really pushing the webpage itself as this is how I will reach collectors that are not on the forums or FB.
I appreciate that a lot of people would like to comment. Can I ask though that you comment on the blog’s webpage itself? It’s super easy, all you need to do is write your comment and enter your email.
If you like what you see, please sign up to my site (again simply enter your email in the ‘subscribe’ box and then click on the confirmation email you will receive shortly after). There are also links on the page to follow us on twitter and FB.
A lot of content has been posted on the blog since the last time I updated here, including the following features:
- 10 quick questions with Mete Akin (aka Turkdlit);
- Collector limelight on Aaron Jones and his Luke Farmboy collection;
- Discussion about veteran collectors and FB groups;
- Review of GW Acrylic;
- Review of ‘Plastic Galaxy’;
- Article by Ian Cowley on the dangers of repro;
- Discussion on the spirit of collecting;
- Article on the Lars Homestead initiative in Tunisia and my trip down there;
- Post about what five things FB groups can learn from the forums; and
- Review of the SWFUK podcast.
I’m also looking for articles from guest bloggers (thanks to those who have already submitted some to me) so hit me up if you have something you’d like to post.
Also starting up a section of childhood pics of collectors and their toys. Please PM me here or on the blog if you’d like to submit some.
