saw this and at first thought it was fake, totally fake. Please tell me i'm right!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Original-vintage-Star-Wars-Kenner-Artoo-Detoo-card-/130514190934?pt=UK_ToysGames_ActionFigures_ActionFigures_JN&hash=item1e63408256

The bubble looks good with a few dents but to me the card just doesn't look right at all

It's a horrible fake Nick, even a repro sticker on a grubby R2

I ****ing knew it! Read his description too! He is blatantly selling a fake! Unbelievable! I'll send him a message :D

Very fake. A real card can become faded like that over time if left in the sun or whatever but the corners are square which i believe is something to never happen to originally rounded corners.

Yeah. What a douche! I've messaged him saying that if he wants to sell a fake then at least say it is one!

Just pisses me off as someone could get duped for a lot of money. I know the missus looks out for cards i'm after for my birthday or Christmas and she wouldn't have a clue about this

Yeah it is a bit of a howler mate. Card looks all kinds of wrong. Sticker on the artoo looks repro lie Joe said. R2-D2 on an offerless Kenner is a difficult MOC to find.

You only get square corners on certain Kenner proof cards as far as Im aware.

To be fair this doesn't seem to be something the seller specialises in. It could be an honest mistake if they bought it thinking it was real.

yeah that is what I suspect Pete. Doesn't look like they've ever sold any SW stuff in the past so they may well have been lied to themselves!

Got a reply from him this morning saying he had no idea it was a fake and that he will remove it. And he has too! Either he's been rumbled by the SWF Police or he really didn't have a clue!
