This is the first edition. This run was never released. The ones you have shown are of a later edition; and yes the ISBN are the same, that is because the ISBN was never made public so they recycled it.
If you weren't so quick to jump to conclusion perhaps you may get a little further!

its not jumping to conclusions, you have provided no details whatsoever apart from a sales pitch as if we should be offering you thousands, its a modern book released 20 years after the first film, whats so special, whats so different? how can you tell?

apart from the fact modern stuff isn't as desirable...i see a $5 modern story book.

Secondly I have the letter from Lucas Films specifying that the books be destroyed under security...so are Lucas Films not telling the truth.

you said this book was the only one in existence, yet there are loads on ebay and in book shops that were not destroyed all for sale for £1-£3, yours has the same ISBN number as the production ones.

so how is this one the only one? whats different?

If you read my previous reply I commented on why the ISBN number was the same; and if you spent your time in the publishing industry you may know this, but I very much doubt you have.

Hew, you must see why this thread is becoming a joke. If you cannot provide all the info you are asked to provide by these potential sellers, who are going to be paying their hard earned money, then what else are they to do?
And, in finishing, modern star wars stuff IS NOT desireable! I collect it. It is shite but i can't help it. No true vintage Star Wars fan on here will tell you that if they were to lose his modern collection in a fire, they would bat more of an eyelid than if they had lost 1/4 of their vintage collection!

It would have helped if you gave this info to start with, withholding information and then having to constantly justify yourself after others find holes in your story does not look good as a new seller try to sell an item that is supposedly 'desirable'
Nothing Modern is desirable (Lego I would say the exception, as some sets command big prices). Your little modern book will not appeal to most on here, try selling on E-bay.

If you're looking to maximise the amount of money you get for this piece then I would say this is the place to do it. That being said if you want to achieve this then you will need to furnish us with all the relevant information to enable us to make a well informed decision. And at the moment you are failing to do so. We need to know what makes this stand apart from the ones we can find on eBay for a fiver. We don't just want 'words' we need pictures and detailed descriptions to understand the items provenance.

Without providing what I've mention above you're just another random person hawking something with Star Wars printed on it for a pipe dream inflated value. We see it all the time, you're not the first and you won't be the last.

Don't take it personal. But if you want to part us form out monies then you need to do some leg work and get us on your side.
