A lot of anger aimed at the Aussies now but there is no way that they could have thought it would go this far

Just all very sad

A very sad story, this is another reason why the media need regulating IMO. Agreed they would not have imagined their prank would have this outcome, but why put someone in that situation. This whole Kate in hospital thing should not even be headline news!! Plenty of women go through this.

Very, very sad! :( :(

I thought it was mad that the prank call was getting international attention. Even saw Prince Charles make a joke about it. To see the nurse topped herself beggars belief :(

Agreed. Makes me wonder who has given her a bollocking. The hospital top brass? The health secretary? Can't be good upsetting the royals in a private hospital

The hospital have said they have supported her throughout this so I dont think it was a bollocking that pushed her over the edge. I think it was the humiliation when the recording was played again and again on the radio.

I really hope the 2 Australian DJ's get pulled before the police. They shouldn't just get away with a telling off and a slapped wrist.

I struggle with this story.

It was a prank, they fell for it. Pranks are stupid, I can't stand them but to take one's life because of it?

Personally I don't care about the Royals or who the prank was on. Stupid prank but in no way do I see the DJ's as responsible for her death. Though I imagine there will be a lot of hate thrown their way.

A big part of me thinks she's incredibly selfish as she left behind her children and husband. Or there are were some serious mental issues with her.

Sad story for sure, but I would imagine this will only get the huge media attention because of royal involvement.

It is definitely a bit weird. Must have been much more going on. It is a pretty honest mistake and she was not even particularly involved. Not sure that suicide is a selfish act though. People tend to feel pretty cornered in life before taking their own life and it is a pretty hard thing to accomplish.

This is a tragedy. It was just a prank call. Are the Royals above being made fun off. Again this is just SO sad. My heart goes out to the family the lady left behind. :(

Exactly right IMO. No one does (or attempts) that if they are of sound body and mind.

I think the hospital are shitting themselves over this and are focussing the blame on the DJs. The is NO WAY on god's earth that they didn't have stern words with that unfortunate nurse. Exclusively rich clientele is what keeps that hospital going, up until her death this was massive negative negative publicity for them, secretly those officials of the hospital are relieved this has happened as it has taken the heat off them.

The media witch-hunt of these DJs is disgraceful and the 'moral majority' verbally crucifying them on social media sites is just sickening. What if, god forbid the DJs commit suicide will every single critic of them show contrition?

I agree with Gary.

You all know my opinion of the Royals, quite why we needed wLl to wall headline news telling us she was preggers for 3 ****ing days i really dont know. A passing mention at the end of the news would have been more than enough.

As for her being in hospital, it's unfortunate, she seems like a nice girl, and i wudnt wish horrendous morning sickness on any woman. BUT how many other women have it and it doesnt get mentioned at all! Just cos she's a royal it's all we hear about for days on end.

The press and the idiots who buy papers just cos there is a royal story in it are the ones responsible for is. If no one cared about the royals this wudnt have been such a big story and yer woman may not have topped herself.
