Not my favourite but farmboy Luke. An innocent figure which all 5-8 year olds wanted to be at the time.

Strange as I am new to " really" trying to collect, rather than running around buying anything SW. I have been drawn towards first 12 as a focus ( with the first 12 mail away stand)

First 12 epitomise SW and it's really hard to choose, but for a stand back unbiased, I would think it would always be Vader cool as F** k 8) hard as nuts...and immediately identifiable with the movie

Oh and he had the best weapon :!:

It's entirely subjective as to what run you might consider epitomising the figures. For me it's ESB back because that's what i started collecting as a kid and the coolest figures are in that run - Boba Fett, IG88, 4-LOM, Han Hoth, Imperial Stormie 8)

One word...... Darth Vader...... ****......... Two words, Darth Vader. He Imo is the one figure that would be instantly recognised around the world, of course Yoda too but Vader spanned all 3 films and therefore gets my nod.

Great thread, for me it would be either farmboy like, bespin han or bespin Luke... Those were the three figures I played with more than any else, heck my bespin Luke has no nose!
