Now I know on the bay items get shilled and the sale aint complete until you have the money ect ect

But I was speaking to Gary over this and asking his advice,so I bid what I thought would secure it.

Seems I was way out with my estimation

With a week left to run it's already more than double what these usually go for. If it was a last minute thing I still wouldn;t understand but at least it would have made more sense.

Shill bidding is a possibility but I'm not sure it is, as it doesn't seem logical.

I really don't think this is the beginning of anything in terms of a price hike on palitoy. I think this is just something strange happening on fleabay, as it so often does.

I think it just depends on who is looking and how foolish they are with their money. I have seen Loose garbage vehicles fetch 10 times what a good boxed example would run, just depends on how many idiots are on Ebay on a given day.

Hopefully it will be a Lobot or something, which would be a reasonable comparison and will let us know if 30 back prices have suddenly shot up.

Looks like the same guy is bidding on this also,already quite steep and he has two bids stacked up on it.
So 2 things look certain:

1)It aint shill bidding,as it's a different seller

2)Iwon't end up winning it.
