Hi guys,

Just a few things i would like to know from the experts. I have a old vader figure which on the net says it is worth 6000 USD. But my one does not have light saber and the cape is torn... I wonder how much will it worth? I have no intention of selling it but just want to know how much it is worth?

Thanx

Was your source of reference a yahoo article by chance?

There is a lot of confusion caused by a certain article on yahoo telling people that Darth Vader figures are worth big money, the figure in question has what's known as a double telescoping saber, there were very few of them made hence they sell for BIG money. The vast majority of vader figures sold had what is known as a single telescoping saber and depending on condition generally sell for anywhere from a couple of £ to on average £20 - £30 if your lucky.

It's fairly much a mute point where yours is concerned as you say it is missing it's saber anyway.

Heres a link describing the difference between the two sabers: http://www.imperialgunnery.com/thelightsabersection.htm

Hope this helps.
