Just seen the old 80s advert on an ad break during Sky Sports News!

The one where the kid bets a basketball player can't put it in his mouth and not chew. What a classic!

It wasnt cleaned up or anything. Well done Nestlé.

Been seeing that for the last few weeks on various channels. They should put more old ads on. One of my faves was the Insignia aftershave one. Had a cool song with it. Shame they don't sell insignia anymore or that one could go back on ...when you're in the supermarket next just take a sniff from a Brut deodorant spay. Takes you right back

Great to see... I've also noticed the Kit Kat Panda advert from the '80s has been getting an airing. Looks like Nestle are raiding their own archives!

Seeing the Green Cross Code Man made me chuckle... I feel a little sorry for Dave Prowse, it appears he's destined to spend his entire life having his west country accent dubbed over.

Some more great ads there, Rob- there's so much I'd forgotten about until the old memory is jogged. Cadbury's Pint SIze... sadly lacking from our supermarket shelves these days :?

Here's one that's not an advert as such, one of those scary public information films, but made a great impression on me as a kid... still gives me the fear when I watch it now. And somebody ought to tell Nick about the Gentle Giant Jawa that features in the clip...

And the classic....http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oDu7yYHxZr0&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DoDu7yYHxZr0

I will leave the Matches one for someone else :D

Creepy :? "I'll be back!!!!"

Love it

They (Nestle) have been using the old KitKat one too, with the photographer at the zoo waiting for the Pandas to show...

Looks like the advertising agency know whats popular on Youtube.

I am waiting for the return of the Kia Ora advert, I don't think it will happen though

Donald pleasence
The kid saying lets get a stick to help was not sensible as could have fallen in too :)

I liked the public information film they showed at schools called green bottles where kids died one by one in quick sand at at building sites.

As soon as I say the kiora ad I though lets read the racistposts and I was right

This Tower block has now been demolished. It was pretty much a crack den for the last 10 years. Affectionately known as the Rocket.
